Presently, Kort Schnabel holds the position of Co-President for Ares Capital Corp., Partner & Co-Head of US Lending at Ares Management LLC and Co-President for Ares Management Corp (Private Equity).

In his past career Mr. Schnabel occupied the position of Principal at Walker Digital LLC and Principal at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Mr. Schnabel received an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
