Leon Edward Panetta founded The Panetta Institute for Public Policy. Currently, he is Chairman at PEW Oceans Commission.
He is also Co-Chairman of The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and Co-Chairman of The Panetta Institute for Public Policy and on the board of 8 other companies.
In the past Mr. Panetta occupied the position of Member of U.S. House of Representatives, Secretary of US Department of Defense (District of Columbia), Director-Visitors Board at The Santa Clara University School of Law and Trustee & Presidential Professor at Santa Clara University.
He received an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree from Santa Clara University.
