Founder of International Centre for Ethnomedicine & Drug Development and Bioresource Development & Conservation Programme, Maurice Mmaduakolam Iwu presently is Chairman of International Centre for Ethnomedicine & Drug Development, Chairman at Bioresource Development & Conservation Programme and President at Bioresources Institute of Nigeria.

He is also on the board of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc.

In the past Mr. Iwu held the position of Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission and Professor at the University of Nigeria.

He received a graduate degree and a doctorate from the University of Bradford.
