Colakides is currently the Non-Executive Chairman at Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd., Eurobank Cyprus Ltd., and Alexandria Cement Co. He also holds the position of Group CFO, Managing Director & Executive Director at Titan Cement International SA. Previously, he served as Director & Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Eurobank Ergasias Services & Holdings SA in 2012.
He was also the Executive Vice Chairman at National Bank of Greece SA. From 2000 to 2007, he held the position of Vice Chairman & Managing Director at Piraeus Financial Holdings SA. Additionally, he served as Vice Chairman at Hellenic Fabrics SA and Nibid Eteba SA. From 1994 to 2000, he was the Group Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director at Titan Cement Co. SA. He also held the position of Group Chief Financial Officer & Director at Titan Cement Co. SA. In his early career, he worked at Citibank NA (Athens Branch) as the Head-Finance & Local Corporate Banking from 1979 to 1993.
He later served as Deputy Chief Executive & Group Risk Officer at EFG Eurobank Ergasias Leasing SA from 2007 to 2013.
Mr. Colakides completed his undergraduate studies at the London School of Economics & Political Science and obtained an MBA from the London Business School.
