Dr. Mendelsohn is also on the board of Foghorn Therapeutics, Inc. and Cyclerion Therapeutics, Inc. In the past Michael E. Mendelsohn occupied the position of Chief Scientific Officer of Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Venture Partner at SV Health Managers LLP, Senior VP & Global Head-Cardiovascular Research at Merck Research Laboratories, Chief Scientific Officer at Tufts Medical Center, Inc. and Chief Scientific Officer for Tufts University School of Medicine. He received an undergraduate degree from Amherst College and a doctorate from Harvard Medical School.
