Presently, Michèle Rousseau is Managing Director at Agence de l'Eau Seine-Normandie and Chairman & Managing Director at Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières.

She is also on the board of Électricité de France SA and L'Agence Nationale de la Recherche.

In her past career she occupied the position of President of Missions Régionales D'Autorité Environnementale, Head-Environment Division at Drire-Nord-Pas-De-Calais and Secretary & Deputy Director at The Ministry for the Ecological & Inclusive Transition.

Michèle Rousseau received an undergraduate degree from École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris.
