UBS Appoints Mike Dargan as Chief Digital and Information Officer

UBS Group AG said Tuesday that it has named its technology chief Mike Dargan as chief digital and information officer as it aims to strengthen its technology push.

Mr. Dargan will join the group executive board in May. His position will replace the former chief operating officer functions.

The Swiss bank also said that Rio Tinto PLC's Barbara Levi will replace Markus Diethelm as general counsel in November. Mr. Diethelm will remain with the bank until next year as a senior advisor, in charge of some legacy litigation cases.
