Mr. Noam Gottesman is a Managing Director at TOMS Capital LLC. TOMS focuses on investments in the financial, real estate, technology, and food service industries. Prior to TOMS, Mr. Gottesman co-founded the hedge fund GLG Partners, Inc. in 1995. During his tenure as co-chairman and chief executive officer, GLG grew to manage $24.6 billion and became publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Gottesman and his partners sold GLG to the Man Group in October 2010. Prior to GLG, Mr. Gottesman was an executive director of Goldman Sachs International, where he managed global equity portfolios in the private client group. Mr. Gottesman is a trustee of the Tate Gallery Foundation and is involved in various other charities.
Mr. Gottesman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University in 1986.
