Paul Clive Deighton is the former Commercial Secretary-HM Treasury of the United Kingdom. Presently, he occupies the position of Non-Executive Chairman of The Economist Newspaper Ltd., Chairman for Hakluyt & Co. Ltd. and Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd.

He is also on the board of Block, Inc., Holdingham Group Ltd., Squareup (UK) Ltd. and Squareup Europe Ltd. and Knight Commander at The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Paul Clive Deighton previously occupied the position of Chief Executive Officer for The London Organising Committee of the Olympic & Paralympic, Principal at Bank of America Corp. and Principal at Security Pacific National Bank (a subsidiary of Bank of America Corp.) and Chief Operating Officer of Goldman Sachs Group UK Ltd.

Lord Deighton received an undergraduate degree from Trinity College, Cambridge.
