Richard P. Teets founded Steel Dynamics, Inc.

He is on the board of Steel Dynamics, Inc. and Executive Vice President of New Millennium Building Systems LLC.

In his past career he occupied the position of Engineering Manager at Nucor Corp., Chairman for The Steel Manufacturers Association and President of Association of Iron & Steel Technology.

Mr. Teets received an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and an MBA from Duquesne University of The Holy Spirit.
