McIntyre, CFA MBA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Sprott Asset Management USA, Inc. Prior to joining Maverix, Mr. McIntyre spent 11 years with Tocqueville Asset Management, most recently as a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Tocqueville Gold Strategy.
Mr. McIntyre began his career as an analyst and then associate focused on mergers and acquisitions in the metals and mining sector with Macquarie Bank from 2002-2006.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction (majoring in finance) from Dalhousie University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
