He is also on the board of Optiscan Imaging Ltd. and Energy World Corp. Ltd.

He previously occupied the position of Head-Mena Research at Morgan Stanley Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc, Head of Research at Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc (UAE) and Equity Strategist at Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte. (which are all subsidiaries of Morgan Stanley).

Sean Gardiner received an undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Town.
