Steven J. Hilton founded Meritage Homes Corp. and Monterey Homes Arizona, Inc. Presently, Mr. Hilton is Executive Chairman for Meritage Homes Corp.

He is also on the board of Western Alliance Bancorp., Western Alliance Bank (Phoenix, Arizona), TGen Foundation and Translational Genomics Research Institute and Chairman at Banner Health Foundation and Member-High Production Home Builders Council at National Association of Home Builders.

In his past career Steven J. Hilton occupied the position of President & Chief Executive Officer of Monterey Homes Arizona, Inc.

He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona.
