Before that, Mr. Montag was with Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., where he was Co-Head of the global securities business and a member of the company’s Management Committee and Equities/FICC Executive Committee. During his 22 years with Goldman Sachs, he held a number of key executive roles. Mr. Montag was Co-President of the firm’s Japanese operations and co-head of Asian FICC and Equities before becoming co-head of the global securities business. Earlier in his career, he ran the firm’s global derivatives business. Mr. Montag was named a Partner at Goldman Sachs in 1994 and Managing Director in 1996.

He began his career with management positions at the First National Bank of Chicago.

He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
