Veerathai Santiprabhob

Veerathai Santiprabhob is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Buddhadasa Indatanno Archives Foundation.
He also holds positions as an Independent Director at PTT Exploration & Production Plc, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Co. Ltd., and Univanich Palm Oil Public Co., Ltd.
Additionally, he serves as a Director at Aksorn Education Public Co. Ltd., a Trustee at The Thailand Development Research Institute, and the Secretary-General of Mae Fah Luang Foundation.
He is also an Associate Fellow at the Royal Society of Thailand.
In his former roles, Dr. Santiprabhob served as the Chairman of the Central Bank Governance Group at The Bank for International Settlements and the Chairman of the Governors Board at The Seacen Centre.
He was an Independent Director at Thai Airways International Public Co. Ltd.
and Central Pattana Public Co. Ltd.
He also served as the Director & Governor of the Bank of Thailand from 2015 to 2020.
He held positions as an Independent Director at Thanachart Capital Public Co., Ltd.
and the Insurance Commission.
He was a Director at the Office of Insurance Commission and the Securities & Exchange Commission Thailand.
He served as the Director of the Policy Research Institute at the Thailand Ministry of Finance from 1998 to 2000.
He was a Member of Chiang Mai University and a Council Member of Thammasat University.
He also served as a Member of the National Economic & Social Development Board.
Dr. Santiprabhob holds graduate and doctorate degrees from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from Thammasat University.
