Presently, Wei Ping Song occupies the position of Chairman-Supervisory Board at Beijing Institute of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science and Director & Vice President at Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group Co., Ltd. Dr. Song is also on the board of China Animal Agriculture Association and Beijing Animal Agriculture Association and Vice Chairman-Domestic Animal Ecology Branch at Chinese Association of Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Song received an undergraduate degree from Southwest University (China), a graduate degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences, an MBA from Peking University and a doctorate from China Agricultural University.
