Mr. McCarten is also on the board of Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corp. and Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests and Member-National Selection Committee at Jefferson Scholars Foundation.

In the past William W. McCarten was President-Marriott Services Group at Marriott International, Inc., Non-Executive Chairman for HMSHost Corp. and Accountant of Arthur Andersen LLP.

Mr. McCarten received an undergraduate degree from McIntire School of Commerce and an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
