He is also on the board of Nitto Denko Corp. and Nasta Co., Ltd.

In his past career he held the position of Executive Director & Executive Vice President at SANYO Electric Co., Ltd.

He received an undergraduate degree from Osaka University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
