Helmuth Ludwig holds the position of Chairman for Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing. Dr. Ludwig is also on the board of Hitachi Ltd. and Professor at SMU-Cox School of Business.

In his past career Dr. Ludwig held the position of Independent Director at CIRCOR International, Inc. and Chief Information Officer of Siemens AG Chief Executive Officer at Siemens Industry, Inc. and Executive VP-Digital Enterprise Realization at Siemens Industry Software, Inc. (both are subsidiaries of Siemens AG).

Helmuth Ludwig received a graduate degree from the University of Karlsruhe and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
