1. Who we are
Surperformance SAS publishes the websites zonebourse.com and marketscreener.com, financial media outlets registered with France's Commission Paritaire des Publications et Agences de Presse (CPPAP).
The public's right to quality information is central to what we do: we therefore attach paramount importance to the independence, reliability and transparency of the content we publish.
This editorial policy sets out the principles that our newsroom undertakes to uphold towards its readers.
2. Editorial independence
We maintain the independence of our newsroom from any pressure group of any kind (advertisers, advertising partners, public authorities, etc.). No content is published or amended as a result of financial pressure.
We take care to avoid any confusion between editorial content and advertising: any promotional content is clearly identified as such.
3. Reliability of information
Our journalists' role is to gather information, to verify it and its sources, to place it in context, to prioritise it and to present it, in order to make it available to the public.
Our newsroom follows the principles of the Declaration of the Duties and Rights of Journalists (Munich Charter) of 24 November 1971.
4. Transparency of our sources
To produce their content, our journalists draw on a range of sources: regulated information published by listed companies, issuer news, monitoring of the economic environment, meetings with issuers, as well as information produced by third parties (news agencies, research firms, etc.). The latter are identified and cited, with a link to the source document wherever possible.
Where content reproduces all or part of an investment recommendation produced by a third party, the name of the research firm and, where available, those of the analysts who authored it, are cited.
5. Compliance with financial regulations
Our newsroom clearly distinguishes factual, objective elements from assumptions and opinions, sets out the reasoning behind the assumptions underlying its assessments, and takes care to demonstrate the reliability of its sources. It refrains from disseminating false or misleading information, from commenting on rumours without identifying them as such, and from misleading the market. In this respect it complies with the applicable rules on investment recommendations, inside information and market abuse.
6. Use of artificial intelligence
Our newsroom may use artificial intelligence tools to support its research and the production of its content. In doing so, we undertake to:
- inform readers whenever content is not essentially the product of human activity (automated translation, text or image generation);
- verify the output produced, in order to preserve the quality of the information;
- never use these tools to create content liable to mislead readers or to leave them in any ambiguity.
7. Our commitments
Surperformance is a member of the Fédération nationale de la presse d'information spécialisée (FNPS, the French federation of specialised press), of the Association des journalistes économiques et financiers (AJEF, the French association of economic and financial journalists) and of WAN-IFRA (the World Association of News Publishers). It is also a member of FIDEO, an association dedicated to promoting transparency in financial information, and our newsroom undertakes in this respect to comply with FIDEO's Code of Conduct.
