2015_09_08_EN_INTA The Argentine Ministry of Agriculture selects Alpha MOS instruments to establish a national quality control of meat products Toulouse, September 8, 2015: Alpha MOS (Euronext Paris, Eurolist C, ISIN : FR0000062804- ALM) announces that their instruments have been selected by the National Institute of Agricultural and Technology (INTA) to contribute to the development of the Argentine food industry. INTA will be equipped with the full range of Alpha MOS instruments, to develop quality standards essential for effective and sustainable food security specific to the meat industry.

In terms of research, technology and agricultural innovation, the National Institute of Agricultural Technology is the leader in Argentina. This independent state organization for standardization, created in 1956, is attached to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. Its activities are intended to improve competitiveness and sustainable of rural developments throughout the country.
For Argentina, meat is a major export product. The Alpha MOS instruments HERACLES (Electronic Nose), ASTREE (Electronic Tongue) and IRIS (Electronic Eye) will be used to analyze and standardize the quality of meat produced in the country. For Argentina, the meat is indeed a major export product.
