The grouping of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region summed up the exercises in Dagestan. All the specified volumes of work were carried out in accordance with the schedule.

Since the beginning of the exercises in the settlements of Karabudakhkentsky district, power engineers of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region have replaced 2,587 poles of overhead power lines. They constructed 163 kilometres of self-supporting insulated wire (SIW), which is more durable and reliable than normal. Three transformer substations were repaired. 5,428 metering devices were installed, including 435 data acquisition and transmission devices.

The exercises of Rosset Group of Companies in the Republic of Dagestan started on 20 July. 2.2 thousand high-class specialists of the power grid complex from all parts of the country and over 700 specialized vehicles were involved in them, which makes the exercises the most ambitious in the history of the industry.

As stated by Alexander Pilyugin, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Managing Company of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, a member of Rosseti Headquarters at the exercises in Dagestan, the exercises completed in Dagestan are unprecedented in scale. For Dagestan this is a significant contribution to ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power supply, and for the power engineers it is unique experience and new skills both in terms of their professional activities and in improving the effectiveness of interaction with colleagues from other regions.
