Announcement on the Appointment of

Mr. Graeme Wheeler as Independent

Non-executive Director

On 21 June 2019, China Construction Bank Corporation (the "Bank") considered and approved the resolution at the 2018 annual general meeting in which Mr. Graeme Wheeler was elected as independent non-executive director of the Bank. China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission has approved the qualification of Mr. Graeme Wheeler to hold office. The board of directors of the Bank (the "Board") hereby formally announces that, Mr. Graeme Wheeler was appointed as independent non-executive director of the Bank.
