Sword announces the acquisition of DataCo

DataCo is a Data Management services company based in Aberdeen (UK), The Hague (Netherlands), Perth (Australia) and Houston (US).

DataCo has an excellent reputation in the marketplace and is focused primarily on the Oil and Gas industry.

The company provides expert Data and Information Management solutions and support, helping its customers reduce costs and increase efficiency through the effective management of their data asset.

DataCo is recognised as a market leader in the above sector within the Oil and Gas industry.

DataCo expects a 2020 turnover of around £5 million with an EBITDA margin of arround 12%.

The mix between DataCo and Sword Services UK will immediately generate synergies; both companies operating in similar sectors.

Their combined expertise will provide customers with an even wider range of services.

The consolidation of this company in the Group's accounts will take place on November 1st, 2019.
