Irdeto, a leader in digital platform security, has launched its Cloakware Trusted Telemetry app, which integrates with IBM security intelligence technology to provide real-time detection of device exploits for timely containment. A key component of Cloakware Security Services, Trusted Telemetry can extend security coverage even to tiny microprocessor and RTOS based systems. Critical security events are passed by default in the protected telemetry packets and agent APIs make it easy to add additional system or application level data as required.
The new application is freely available to the security community through IBM Security App Exchange, a marketplace where developers and partners across the industry can share applications based on IBM Security technologies. Trusted Telemetry leverages IBM Security QRadar, the company's security intelligence platform which analyzes data across an organization's IT infrastructure in real-time to identify potential security threats. Leveraging QRadar's open application programming interfaces (API), Trusted Telemetry provides Irdeto and IBM customers with robust, reliable security telemetry data, which can help scale to accommodate the massive increase in connected devices that we are experiencing today.
