NOTICE TO THE MARKET

São Paulo, February 10, 2020 - BRASKEM S.A. (B3: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK), announces to its shareholders and the market that Braskem Idesa, its joint venture with the Mexican group Idesa, has reached an important milestone with the importing of its first shipment of ethane, which will be used as feedstock to produce polyethylene at the Petrochemical Complex in Mexico.

With an approximate investment of US$4 million, this complementary solution for acquiring feedstock will make it possible to import up to 12,800 barrels per day of ethane to the Petrochemical Complex in México, which represents 19% of its ethane needs.
