N Brown Group Plc, a U.K.-based retailer that sells clothing, footwear and homewares through four brands, is migrating to the cloud with the help of Oracle's technology.

The retailer is deploying Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting Cloud Service to enhance forecast accuracy for the entire product lifecycle, according to a press release. Last year it implemented the Oracle ERP Cloud to provide its finance team with faster data access and to boost operational performance.

"We want our merchandising teams to focus on creating fashion that fits, flatters, and meets the needs of our diverse customer base. Our digital transformation will create further efficiencies in the business by adopting industry best practices and automating processes that will allow our teams to focus on our core goal — serving customers," said Adam Warne, CIO, N Brown Group, in the release. "We chose Oracle Retail to adopt the latest cloud technology, delivered on a platform that can grow with our business needs."

N Brown is headquartered in Manchester and employs over 2,400 people across the U.K.
