TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Oneok Inc. (OKE) on Monday reported fourth-quarter profit of $320.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company said it had profit of 77 cents.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 75 cents per share.

The natural gas company posted revenue of $2.66 billion in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.43 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $1.28 billion, or $3.07 per share. Revenue was reported as $10.16 billion.

Oneok expects full-year earnings to be $3.25 to $3.85 per share.

Oneok shares have fallen almost 1% since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index has stayed nearly flat. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $75.08, a rise of 11% in the last 12 months.
