£ Fred scored twice as Manchester United thrashed 10-man Club Brugge 5-0 last night to ease into the last 16 of the Europa League. Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot after Simon Deli's handball saw him sent off and Odion Ighalo made it 2-0 minutes later. Scott McTominay fired in a third before Fred added the gloss with two late strikes to make it 6-1 on aggregate. Elsewhere, Wolves qualified for the next round, despite a 3-2 defeat away to Espanyol. Jonathan Calleri netted a hat-trick in Spain, but goals from Adama Traore and Matt Doherty added to Wolves' 4-0 first-leg win.
