Aramark: COVID-19 Updates from our CEO.

An Update for our U.S. Field Associates:

This is truly an unprecedented time in our history that we will get through together. We know that it is creating significant personal hardships, especially for our dedicated hourly associates who serve our clients and customers every day. We are implementing the following measures, effective immediately, to help our valued associates through this difficult time.

For U.S. part-time and full-time field associates in active account locations with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or who are quarantined due to COVID-19 related symptoms or exposure, we will provide up to 21 additional days of sick time, once all accrued sick time has been exhausted. This additional paid time off will be at no cost to the associate, regardless of how many sick days the associate has accrued.

We will extend company-paid medical benefits coverage through June 30, 2020 for associates enrolled in Aramark benefit plans who are dealing with reduced hours or site closures due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

All Aramark employees will have access to Telehealth, a 24/7 resource for people who feel sick and need immediate access to advice and care from a licensed medical professional. Following CDC guidelines, Telehealth clinicians screen to evaluate symptoms, understand risk factors and determine who should be sent to an in-person facility for further testing of COVID-19.

In addition, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all employees and their families at no cost. It provides helpful tools for managing anxiety and fears, including support to help you explain this complex situation to your children.

Finally, as they always do, our devoted team members are supporting the local communities where we live and work. There are numerous examples of programs, donations and efforts being led by Aramark team members. We are also working on plans with our Aramark Building Community partners, Sysco and local non-profit organizations to provide donations, food and supplies to communities in need.

You have my pledge that we will continue to keep you informed using the best information and guidance available to us. Please stay safe and check back for updates.

Thank you for your resilience and perseverance. We will come through this stronger than ever.
