Arroz SOS (https://www.arrozsos.es/), one of the flagships of the Ebro Foods Group's (www.ebrofoods.es) rice business in Spain, will donate one million euros to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain.
This economic aid will be used essentially to meet the most pressing needs in healthcare to combat the disease, through the purchasing of critical medical equipment for different hospitals.
Other lines of action will include solidarity initiatives in which the Group participates along with other welfare organisations, such as the foodtracks of the field hospital set up at the IFEMA trade fair facilities in Madrid.
Meanwhile, SOS will continue its support for the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL), aiming to meet the needs of those segments of society most hard hit by the COVID-19 crisis.
