MONDO TV GROUP: Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group published its consolidated results for the first quarter of 2020

The quarter ended with a strong improvement of the value of production and a profit of around 620 thousand Euros against the loss of around 50 thousand Euros in the first quarter of 2019

All other fundamentals in significant improvement:
- Production value: 1,128,818 Euros (110,954 Euros in the first quarter 2019, +917%)
- EBITDA: Euros 756,500 (Euros 199,249 in the first quarter 2019, +279%)
- EBIT: Euros 641,010 (Euros 68,410 in the first quarter 2019, +837%)
- Net profit: Euros 621,950 (compared to the loss of Euros 52,456 in the first quarter 2019)
- NFP: net indebtedness for Euros 2,543,834 (Euros 2,350,396 at December 31, 2019)
A new contract has also been signed today with the company Enanimation S.r.l. for the international co-production of a new animated series

21 April 2020Mondo TV S.p.A. announced that Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group has published today its consolidated results for the first quarter of 2020.

According to what was communicated by the Spanish subsidiary, the value of production of the Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group (consisting of Mondo TV Iberoamerica SA and the subsidiary Mondo TV Producciones Canarias SLU) stood at Euros 1,128,818 in the first quarter of 2020, compared to Euros 110,954 in the first quarter 2019 with an increase of 917%.

The EBITDA of Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group was Euros 756,500 (Euros 199,249 in the first quarter 2019, thus +279%), EBIT of Euros 641,010 (Euros 68,410 in the first quarter 2019, thus +837%) and the net profit of Euros 621,950 (compared to the loss of Euros 52,456 in the first quarter 2019).

The first quarter of 2020 therefore consolidates the recovery of the Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group's business which further improved its financial position. The liquidity ratio (1.32) and net working capital (positive for Euros 745,855) reached their highest level since the creation of the Group, while the debt ratio dropped to its minimum level (2.01).

The net financial position showed a net indebtedness for Euros 2,543,834, slightly increasing compared to 31 December 2019 (Euros 2,350,396), due to the decrease in cash for operating expenses.

The Group today signed a new international co-production for a series of 52 episodes of 7 minutes each, titled "Nina y Olga", with the Italian producer Enanimation Srl: the new production includes a 12-month pre-production plan and an investment of almost one million Euros, by virtue of which the Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group will acquire 25% of the IP and 100% of the exploitation rights in Spain.
