MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ABOUT A NEW CONTRACT IN MOZAMBIQUE WORTH 365 MILLION USD

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL) hereby informs about the signing of a new contract, by MOTA- ENGIL ENGENHARIA E CONSTRUÇÃO ÁFRICA, S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL AFRICA), in a 50/50 partnership with BESIX, related to the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.

The project, whose client is CCS JV, includes the construction of a pier bridge and an offloading facility in a total amount of circa of 365 million dollars. The works will last 32 months, starting in the first half of 2020, being this the first contract awarded by CCS JV in the scope of exploration of Area 1 of the LNG project.

This new project in Mozambique, which will be one of the largest LNG projects in the world in the next decade, confirms this country as one of the main drivers of the commercial dynamics of MOTA-ENGIL ÁFRICA in the continent, highlighting the importance that the LNG project has and will continue to have in MOTA-ENGIL's activity evolution.
