DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) _ Construction Partners Inc. (ROAD) on Friday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $1.5 million.
On a per-share basis, the Dothan, Alabama-based company said it had net income of 3 cents.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 6 cents per share.
The road and highway construction company posted revenue of $168.7 million in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $166.1 million.
Construction Partners expects full-year revenue in the range of $820 million to $830 million.
Construction Partners shares have decreased 2.5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 40% in the last 12 months.
