Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On June 23, 2020, Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. (Nexstar Broadcasting), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (Nexstar), issued a press release announcing that Brian Jones, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Nexstar Broadcasting, has notified Nexstar of his plans to retire from his current position effective as of August 1, 2020.
