Jakarta - PT Pertamina Bina Medika IHC signed a conditional share takeover agreement with 7 state-owned companies owned by 7 state-owned hospitals at the Mandiri Club Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Tuesday (6/30/2020).

The seven BUMNs are PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk as the shareholder of PT Krakatau Medika, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) as the shareholder of PT Port Hospital, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) as the shareholder of PT Pelindo Husada Citra, PT Perkebunan Nusantara X as the shareholder of PT Nusantara Medika Utama, PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI as the shareholder of PT Nusantara Sebelas Medika, PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII as the shareholder of PT Rolas Nusantara Medika, and PT Timah Tbk as the shareholder of PT Rumah Bakti Timah Hospital.

BUMN Minister Erick Thohir expressed his appreciation to BUMN in his remarks, 'Thank you and appreciation for the entire SOE team and hospitals involved in the holding of phase two hospitals. My previous target of June 2020 phase 2 has been achieved. Starting from now Pertamedika as a holding hospital which will rank second in the hospital group in Indonesia and nearly 4500 beds available. Our next focus is to enter the transformation phase where hospitals and pharmacy must be able to collaborate to be able to improve the performance of each company in order to create an economy for the BUMN itself and also social benefits in the community.

In line with this, Pertamina Finance Director Emma Sri Martini revealed 'This signing is a form of synergy to build a hospital holding in the Ministry of SOEs. The aim is to implement quality standardization and operational services in the network of holding member hospitals throughout Indonesia, and that is synonymous with increasing service and at the same time improve the expertise of the experts. '

On the same occasion IHC President Director Pertamedika Fathema Djan Rahmat, said that the two phases of the consolidation of state-owned hospitals are a synergy to build a strong foundation in holding hospitals. 'We are committed to completing the third phase in the near future, so that later Indonesia Healthcare Corporation will become the largest network hospital in Indonesia'.
