ABN AMRO Ventures has joined the group of investors backing Quantexa. Together with British Patient Capital, and led by Evolution Equity Partners, ABN AMRO Ventures joins existing investors such as Dawn Capital, AlbionVC, Accenture Ventures and HSBC.

The Contextual Decision Intelligence software created by Quantexa helps companies to maximise the value of data. It allows them to identify hidden threats and new opportunities, and to improve their decision-making using internal and external datasets. The company's products are used by thousands, across more than 70 countries. Quantexa will use this capital injection to expand into new markets such as the public sector, continue the development of its existing software, and accelerate its growth in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Director Hugo Bongers of ABN AMRO Ventures explains, 'ABN AMRO Ventures is making this investment in Quantexa in recognition of its broad and strategic capability that can further accelerate our digitalisation, and specifically our data strategy. We will use Quantexa's solutions to better map out our clients' networks, and draw on those findings in our gatekeeper function and in detecting financial crime. It will also help us to understand our clients even better and improve our services. On top of this, Quantexa's strong and extensive shareholder base will give us access to an international network and expertise.'
