Fiduciary Trust International, a global wealth manager and wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, continues to grow its New York office, welcoming Cathy Carilli, CFA® as senior portfolio manager. Ms. Carilli has more than 20 years of experience customizing and managing multi-asset portfolios.

“Cathy has built a solid track record of working with high-net-worth clients and their families to create portfolios that are designed to help them meet their long-term financial goals while effectively navigating different market conditions,” said Paulina Mejia, regional managing director, trust counsel, and head of Fiduciary Trust International’s New York office. “Now more than ever, our clients need trusted partners who can provide them with peace of mind through holistic wealth management, and Cathy embodies this client-centric service paradigm.”

Ms. Carilli joins Fiduciary Trust International from U.S. Trust, Bank of America Wealth Management, where she worked for 24 years, most recently as managing director and senior portfolio manager. During her tenure there, Ms. Carilli was a member of the firm’s Custom Equity Solutions Group and Equity Approval Committee. She also served on the U.S. Trust Development & Engagement Committee, where she helped develop a strategy to incorporate open architecture into the organization and its client portfolios. Earlier in her career, Ms. Carilli was a vice president and portfolio manager at Citibank Private Bank, and senior investment manager and team leader at Citicorp Investment Services.

Ms. Carilli is a CFA® charterholder, and is a member of the CFA Institute and New York Society of Security Analysts. She received her MBA in finance from Fordham University and graduated from Iona College with a BBA in finance. Ms. Carilli is also founder and president of The Tower of Hope, Inc., a nonprofit organization which raises funds to train service dogs and pair them with wounded veterans and people in need.

“We continue to add seasoned professionals in our offices nationwide to further build upon the expertise we can harness on behalf of our clients and their families,” said Lawrence A. Sternkopf, president and chief operating officer of Fiduciary Trust International. “Cathy has more than two decades of experience developing solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families, and we look forward to working with her to help multiple generations of clients preserve and grow their wealth.”
