New IKEA store by the FOURLIS Group in Bulgaria
The FOURLIS Group has opened a new IKEA store in Varna, Bulgaria. This 8,000 sq.m. store is the first of many in the network of stores that are part of FOURLIS Group's new philosophy for medium and small stores, which the Group will develop in the coming period.
The new store is located at Delta Planet Mall and it has a collection of more than 3500 products, accessories, and items of furniture available for immediate purchase. Visitors have access to the full range of 8000 items available to the Bulgarian market, which can be ordered using a variety of delivery - pick-up options, directly from the store at no charge or delivered to customers' homes.
At the same time, visitors can enjoy the full IKEA experience, discover solutions and products that will make their daily home life easier, enjoy a meal at the restaurant, and try all the delicious IKEA food products at home, by shopping at the Swedish Food Market.
The FOURLIS Group opened the first IKEA store in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2011, aiming to make the daily life of its citizens even more beautiful and functional. Following the successful concept of order and pick-up points in Greece, in July 2015 the first pick-up point was opened in the city of Varna, in Eastern Bulgaria, 380 miles from Sofia; in October 2016 the second pick-up point was opened in Burgas, and in December 2018 the third pick-up point store was opened in Plovdiv.
In the framework of the FOURLIS Group development programme, an additional small size IKEA will open soon in Piraeus. The new Piraeus IKEA will cover an area of 2,000 sq. m. and will be the first of a series of stores to open at central points in major Greek cities.
Overall, the FOURLIS Group is presently operating five IKEA stores in Greece, two in Bulgaria, and one in Cyprus, while it has six pick-up points in Greece, three in Bulgaria, and one in Cyprus.
