Since the launch of the '1349' SIM card, the Group's mobile satellite airtime has burgeoned from over 1,000 minutes of airtime in April to over 60,000 minutes in four months. Due to the increasing mobile satellite airtime traffic, CMSCG has announced last month that it will be hiring an additional E1 line1 to their current mobile satellite connection to regulate satellite airtime capacity between the Thuraya-owned satellites and the virtual gateway used by CMSCG to provide secure satellite airtime services to its China-based enterprise user base.

Jimmy Zhang, Chief Executive Officer of CMSCG commented on the announcement, "We have been aggressively marketing and distributing Thuraya's mobile satellite products and services for these four months in the fast growing mobile satellite market in China. It is evident that our efforts have helped us achieved huge progress. While we are encouraged by the positive results, we are not complacent and will continue to grow our mobile satellite business in China."
