The Northwest Region of the Keiretsu Forum announced today that the organization will host its “Angel Capital Expo” on March 15, 2018 from 7am-5pm at Microsoft, Building 33, in Redmond, Washington (https://www.k4northwest.com/events/angel-capital-expo-northwest-2). The event will feature more than 350 angel investors and a select group of (18) high-quality, diverse companies from some of the most exciting, burgeoning segments in technology, block chain, healthcare/life sciences, consumer products, and real estate. Keiretsu Forum investors will also elect the recipient for the “Most Valued Company Award” at the Expo.

“The Angel Capital Expo is the premier gathering of the angel capital community, bringing together investors and top entrepreneurs,” said Brianna McDonald, President of the Keiretsu Forum’s Northwest Region. “The event was created to foster collaboration among angel groups, as well as reach out to the larger investment community. We are thrilled with the enthusiasm surrounding this year’s expo and look forward to seeing the meaningful connections and funding opportunities that occur due to the day’s format.”

Among the show’s packed agenda of educational presentations, exhibits and pitches, leading executives in the investment and startup worlds will speak to attendees:

  • Leslie Feinzaig, Founder and CEO of the Female Founders Alliance
  • Tim Enger, Head of Business Development at Microsoft for Startups
  • James Gelfer, Senior Analyst, PitchBook
  • Mike Stevens, Keiretsu Capital Exit Team Lead, Introducing the “Keiretsu Exit Handbook”

“Keiretsu Forum’s Angel Capital Expo provides a unique format for an exclusive group of investors and breakthrough startups to converge in meaningful conversations, education and exchange,” said Helen Thomas, Chairman, Co-Founder and CEO of Touchjet, and last year’s recipient of the Most Valued Company Award. “Touchjet’s participation in the Expo has proven invaluable to the direction and growth of our company.”

Registration is by private invitation only and can be requested by contacting Xoe Heeney at Xoe@keiretsuforum.com or calling (206) 529-3687. The event is exclusive to Keiretsu Forum members and their guests, together with the group’s community partners and family offices. Expo tickets include access to all presentations, exhibits, breakfast, lunch and a closing networking reception with appetizers.

“The Angel Capital Expo is another example of the extreme added value we bring to our Keiretsu Forum members and entrepreneurial companies,” added McDonald.
