VMware has agreed to buy Pivotal Software and Carbon Black.

VMware previously said it was in talks to buy Pivotal.

The $26-a-share Carbon Black deal represents an enterprise value of $2.1 billion. Meanwhile, the Pivotal deal has a $2.7 billion enterprise value.
