Virdi to lead finance organization and drive growth strategy

Schindler Elevator Corporation, a leading global mobility provider of elevators, escalators and related services, announced today that Sneh Virdi has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer for its US Operations.

In this role, Ms. Virdi will lead the company’s Finance organization and drive Schindler’s growth strategy. Additionally, she will guide the company through long-range planning to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

Virdi joins Schindler from Legrand, where she was Vice President Finance, Electrical Wiring Systems, North and Central America. She led the financial strategies of ~$1 billion division in eight locations across US, Canada, Mexico, Central America and China. In addition to leading a team of finance professionals, she worked collaboratively with the company’s executive team to develop financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Prior to Legrand, she held various positions with United Technologies.

Virdi holds an MS in Statistics from Panjab University, India; an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology; and a Certificate in Management (Executive Program) from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.
