BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's economy is expected to grow 4 percent this year, driven by government investment and economic measures, the finance minister said on Friday.

Growth for 2018 is estimated at 4.1-4.2 percent, the minister, Apisak Tantivorawong, told reporters. Official 2018 gross domestic product (GDP) data is due to be released next month.

In 2017, Southeast Asia's second-largest economy expanded 3.9 percent, the fastest in five years.
