On Tuesday, August 20th, the 23 ETFs included in the TrackInsight segment of Financials Large & Mid Cap experienced a negative performance of -1,55% on average. As the world economic health is deteriorating, financials stocks are first in line when the market is doing bad and they are often hit by large losses. Yesterday, for example, the main indices in the US lost around 0,70% when financials stocks lost more than twice as much as that. This segment is now 10% away from its year-to-date highs, and stands at +11,72% on average for 2019. Investors also seem to be very cautious with financials stocks, as they redeemed $5,58Bn of ETFs shares on the primary market in 2019. 23 ETFs are tracking 14 indices related to Financials Large & Mid Cap Stocks, and they gather a total of $23,96Bn of assets under management.
