ETFs related to Korean stocks market continue to decline with a new negative average daily performance of -1,24% posted on Thursday, August, 23th. In 2019, the related segment lost almost 10% despite a good start to the year which brought the average return close to +10% in April. Yesterday, tensions between Japan and South Korea escalated after Seoul said it was canceling an intelligence-sharing pact related to North Korea’s threat. Investors withdrew more than $ 650 M from the 36 ETFs included in this segment since the beginning of the year, lowering the total assets under management to $ 5,3 bn.
