Shares of power producers fell as Treasury yields rose in response to strong euro-zone and Chinese economic data.

Spanish utility Iberdrola plans to replace its two remaining coal-fired power plants with renewable energy projects as part of efforts to align itself with the Paris Agreement on climate change.

French power producer Suez said a planned overhaul to its corporate structure would generate cost savings.
