Shares of power producers rose slightly as fears about U.S.-Chinese trade relations spurred demand for safe havens.

PG&E rose even after a state investigation into the causes of the 2018 Camp Fire found the utility company failed to adequately inspect and maintain its transmission lines for years before a faulty line started the fire.
