WESTWOOD ONE 2011-2012 NCAA FOOTBALL BROADCASTERS

John Tautges will serve as lead play-by-play announcer for Westwood One's coverage of NCAA Football for the third straight season. He also calls the action for regular season basketball, and has been the studio host for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and Final Four for most of the past decade. He has also co-anchored coverage of both the Summer and Winter Olympics for Westwood One, as well as for all four major golf tournaments. Tautges is a veteran broadcaster with more than three decades of television and radio experience, including 20 years at the network level.

Terry Donahue returns as the lead analyst for Westwood One’s NCAA Football broadcasts, also his third year in the role. Prior to that, Donahue served as a studio analyst for NFL Network’s “College Football Now” and as a game analyst for FOX’s coverage of NFL and college football. He also was the lead college football analyst for CBS Sports from 1996-1998. Donahue was General Manager of the San Francisco 49ers from 2001-2005, but is known mostly for his coaching exploits on the gridiron. He led the UCLA Bruins to 151 victories over 20 seasons (1976-1995) and retired as the winningest coach in Pac 10 football history. Donahue was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000.

Brian Davis joins the NCAA on Westwood One as a full-time play-by-play announcer after having served as a fill-in the past few seasons. In addition to his work for Westwood One, Davis has called Pac-10, Big Ten and Mid-American Conference games for cable TV. He also spent four seasons as radio play-by-play announcer for the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks and handled pre-season TV duties for the Arizona Cardinals. Davis is currently the television voice of the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder, where he has earned consecutive regional Emmy awards. He has also called games for the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and MLS’s Chicago Fire.

Eddie George returns for his third season as color analyst for Westwood One’s NCAA Football broadcasts. Previously, George co-hosted both College and NFL football programs for the Big Ten Network and Fox Sports Net. On the playing field, George thrived as both a college and professional player. As a senior at Ohio State in

1995, George rushed for a school record 1,927 yards and 24 touchdowns and won the 61st Heisman Trophy

Award. He was selected by the Houston Oilers in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft and went on to become a

4-time Pro Bowl running back for the Oilers and Tennessee Titans, whom he played for from 1996 to 2003. George is only the second running back in NFL history to rush for 10,000 yards while never missing a start. He was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1996 and led the Titans to the Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Jason Horowitz hosts the pregame, halftime and postgame shows for all NCAA Football and regular season NCAA Basketball broadcasts on the network. He also served in a similar role this year for Westwood One's coverage of the Frozen Four and the Lacrosse Final Four. Additionally, he has anchored updates of Westwood One’s coverage of both the 2008 and 2010 Olympics. Horowitz has also been the face of CBS Sports.com since its inception in September 2005, hosting and producing a variety of shows for the website’s coverage of the NFL, College Football, and the NCAA Tournament. Horowitz also spent two seasons as the voice of the WNBA’s New York Liberty.
