ACWA Power Company announced Signing the Public-Private Partnership Agreement relating to the Design, Construction, Financing, Ownership, Operation and Maintenance of the Caspian Sea Water Desalination Plant between The Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan represented by Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency as ADSEA and the public partner and ?Caspian Sea Azerbaijan Project Company? LLC as the Project Company. The Public Private Partnership Agreement along with a series of agreements were signed to deliver Azerbaijan?s first large-scale Caspian Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Desalination Plant.
Contract value: USD 400 million (SAR 1.5 billion). Contract Duration 27.5 years including the construction period. Date of Signing the Contract: December 26, 2025.
